January marked an exciting and purposeful start to the year at Tamani Foundation.

Our KG1 class (25 students) began on 5th January, giving our youngest learners time to settle into their new environment, build confidence, and form bonds with their teachers. The rest of the classes started school on 13th January, welcoming students back with renewed focus and enthusiasm.

This term also introduced new leadership, whose appointment has brought fresh energy and direction across the school.

Several new academic and structural implementations were introduced. Assemblies became more interactive, with classes presenting topics they have studied and speaking about important events of the country and around the world, strengthening confidence and public speaking skills.

We proudly celebrated the release of the 2025 Grade 4 results, which included 6 As, 7 Bs, and 6 Cs. Learners who achieved As were recognised and rewarded for their hard work and excellence.

A new holistic grading system was implemented, incorporating projects, homework, classwork, and unit tests to give a more comprehensive reflection of student performance. The month concluded with a very successful Board meeting, reinforcing our shared vision and commitment for the year ahead.
