February 2026 focused on awareness, responsibility, and preparation for the blessed month of Ramadhan.

For the first time ever a special assembly was led by one of our parents, Dr. Rajabu, and his medical team. The assembly was to mark World Cancer Day. Attended by both our learners and Matemwe School, the team explained the causes, symptoms, and prevention of cancer in an engaging and educational session. Students later participated in an art competition to creatively express what they had learned.

Parent engagement remained strong throughout the month. A PTC committee meeting was held where the previous committee was dissolved, a new one formed, and the amended constitution presented and signed. This was followed by a whole-school PTC meeting to discuss key matters with parents.

A dental hygiene awareness session was also conducted, including a practical demonstration on proper tooth brushing during assembly. Furthermore, classroom sessions on cleanliness, taharah (purification), and proper toilet use reinforced hygiene education.

Student leadership was highlighted through School Council Elections, followed by a Badging Ceremony to officially recognise elected leaders.
