The Opening of the Tamani School Sports Complex

On December 5th, the Tamani School Sports Complex officially opened its doors, bringing new opportunities for students. This new facility will enhance the school’s athletic programs and enrich students’ lives for years to come.

The Sports Complex features a versatile court for pickleball, badminton, and basketball, along with a second area that includes an astroturf football pitch. These spaces will offer students opportunities to engage in fitness, teamwork, and friendly competition. Both the court and pitch were generously funded by a couple whose donation made this part of the complex possible.

At the event, the couple and their wedding guests were celebrated, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at the courts. To make the occasion even more memorable, a delicious chicken biryani feast was donated and served by the couple and their family to the Tamani Foundation staff and students.

A standout feature of the complex is the eco-friendly obstacle course, something G7 helped design. Crafted from reclaimed wood from the school’s old roof, the obstacle course reflects Tamani’s commitment to sustainability while providing a fun, challenging experience for students.

The new facilities are a source of excitement for students, and we look forward to how they will foster growth, teamwork, and fitness. The Tamani School Sports Complex is not just a collection of athletic spaces; it embodies community spirit, generosity, and the school’s commitment to providing an exceptional environment for its students.

Here’s to many memorable moments, new friendships, and plenty of healthy competition on these fantastic new grounds!
