This week our nursery students are back in the school and happily learning and playing again. We are so glad to be able to give them this opportunity to have a taste of education before they start primary school. They will be well prepared! Things we teach them are for example:
– The alphabet
– Writing
– Reading
– Counting in Kiswahili and English
– Shapes and colours
They are really keen on learning and always want to perform well! We are truly proud of them and our amazing teachers who are doing a great job in motivating these children. The teachers are really the heroes, without them we would not be able to offer this quality education. And they can sing and dance 😉
In these photos the kids are singing about frosty mornings, maybe that is not the case here but it’s great for them to know about these things for the understanding of other cultures and places.
