May has been a month full of learning, excitement and opportunities. Our pre primary teachers participated in an impactful six day course on foundational literacy, led by Asma Zaidi from the Let’s Read Program in Hyderabad, India. Teachers explored the brain science behind early childhood learning and were trained in hands-on strategies for teaching pre-primary children. Asma also introduced us to four levels of activity-based learning resource bags, a fantastic toolkit that is already making its way into our kindergarten classrooms.
In our Primary School, students in Grades 1, 5, and 6 completed their first term exams. Meanwhile, Grades 3,4 and 7 started morning and evening classes ensuring extra support as they prepare for their national examinations ahead.
Our kindergarten learners took part in their first term assessments, which were designed to be fun, interactive, and learning through play. It was a joy to see how confident and expressive our youngest students have become!
We’re incredibly proud of our learners and grateful for our partners and teachers who make all this possible.
