- Choose the categories of words to practise by filling the box next to the wanted categories. Chagua aina za maneno ya kufanya mazoezi kwa kujaza kisanduku kilicho kando ya makundi alitaka.
- Click ‘Typing Game’ to start practise the chosen words. Bonyeza ‘Vinavyolingana mchezo’ kuanza kutekeleza maneno kuchaguliwa.
- Type the correct translation and then press the “play symbol”.
- Click ‘Swap words and translations’ to change language to translate. Click ‘Mute’ to mute the pronunciation voice.
- Click ‘Show image’ to see a image of the word. Click ‘Pronounce correct translation’ to hear the correct translation. Click ‘Show first letters’ to see the first letters of the word.
- Click the right speaker to hear the pronunciation of the word that is to be translated.
- If the spelling was correct the word will display in green. If the spelling was wrong it will show what was wrong and you need to try again. If you are wrong you need to type the correct spelling several times, then a new word will display.
- Click the speakers to hear pronunciations.
- When finished practising the chosen words quit the page or go back to choosing categories by clicking ‘English-Swahili’ on the top bar. Baada ya kumaliza kufanya mazoezi ya maneno waliochaguliwa kuacha ukurasa au kurudi nyuma na kuchagua makundi kwa kubonyeza ‘Kiingereza-Kiswahili’ kwenye bar ya juu.
