Guest giving inspirational session
Last Friday we were privileged by having Mr. Mohammed from Mohammed’s Bungalows as a guest. Mr. Mohammed is born and raised in Zanzibar and has worked his way from having nothing to build and run his own beach hotel.

The coordinators of Tamani Foundation was featured recently in a Swedish news paper. The article is about our Swedish couple who works as coordinators here at Tamani and how they decided to leave their “normal” lives behind them and went to Africa with a one way ticket.

This week we had the GIVE volunteers coming to our school to help teaching and especially help us out with speaking exercises. Today was game day!

Medical Camp for the nursery students
Yesterday we had an four doctor students who are about to graduate within one month with us here at Tamani. They helped us arranging a medical camp for all our nursery students – in total 45 children!

Back on track – ready for part two!
So far we have 10 new students in the adult classes – a special welcome to you guys! Our regular students move up to level 2, however some of them will also do a recap of level 1.
This week we have Easter break
This week we’re closed for Easter. All adult students are resting after the tests and the little ones are playing at home.
Level 1 exams
Yesterday all our adult students did their Level 1 exams I’m English and Computer.

These amazing students stay almost every day after their class to learn more together – how incredible isn’t that? We are so proud!
English class
This is one of today’s English Classes – did you know we have four English classes every day from Monday to Thursday?
Thursdays – exam day!
Every other Thursday we give the students small exams so they get used to the procedure of taking exams and also so they can see how they improve.
